Wine Tasting

Wine Tasting at "La Cantinetta"

Hello everybody

For those who missed me I’m back and for those who haven’t been here in a while welcome back

Just want to talk to you about the wine tasting I went to last Friday. Seriously sometimes I’m not sure if it’s a wine tasting or a food tasting. The food at the restaurant is so good and the quantity is actually quite impressive. So yeah I hope one day somebody can come and join us it’s really great.

We had three wines as always. The first one was really good.  It went well with fish. I love the antipasto, potatoes with squid. The potato had a nice vinegary taste to it that complement it really well with the wine.

The second dish (I remember the dish more than the wines) was a great bowl of the spaghetti with eggplant the eggplants were cooked amazingly, not too soft not too hard and they had a really good infused taste.

Now for the last dish as you can imagine after three glasses of wine I completely forgot to take a picture. I will try to get it later if one of the other people who participated can  send me a picture.

As you can read from this post, I’m not a professional wind Creek or food critic for that matter. Nor do I love writing. I’m actually using my speech to text application on my phone to write this. But I like to share my ideas and as an English teacher I think spoken language is as important if not more than the written language you learn at school when you speak to people and I’m not talking about working environment or study or school or educational environments here

But I like to share my ideas and as an English teacher I think spoken language is as important if not more than the written language you learn at school. When you speak to people and I’m not talking about in aworking environment or educational environments here I’m talking about talking to people at the supermarket, in the store or on the street. You will be using different techniques. You will be using language that is completely different from what you learned in the textbooks.

Anyway, don’t wanna start ranting too much, hope you enjoy and I hope to see you soon have a nice day
